He he, that Lily is such a skilled manipulator. She could have tried to call for Sam’s pity, for his sense of justice, for his compassion, for ‘solidarity’ when he somehow revealed he shared some of her wounds and difficulties (being soulless and all), tried to provoke him, and he would’ve had plenty of empathy but wouldn’t even start to budge, but she carefully threw the only 2 words that immediately made Sam thoroughly react, ‘Dean, dead’. After knowing them for 10 min. max. Great mastery. :)
