i h8 the “serial killer fandom” bc of them ruining the ability for ppl to express kind of interest in serial killers. not only do a lot of ppl have a sort of morbid curiosity about dangerous people like serial killers, a lot of serial killer cases are good to research from a sociological perspective
there’s a lot of interesting discussion to be had about modern culture and how it affected the crimes, why it took so long for certain serial killers to be caught, why no one was paying attention, but no you just wanna talk about how you wanna fuck ted bundy
