He’s hurt his back multiple times recently and his knee before that. My friend said he talked about it during a recent con, not MinnCon but one of the ones before that. Maybe VanCon?

I’m starting to wonder if maybe Jared’s back was worse than he let on during the filming of this episode. It would explain why he ended up sitting in a truck for most of the time and why all the stunts were obviously his double.
From Dean saying “Sam won’t like it” when Jack wanted to go hunting to “Remind me to give you the talk later”, this ep with Dean and Jack has a “don’t tell your mother” vibe.
