I happily accept the love and all the kisses you’ve got. I’m still fairly grumpy and it’s not all just random. I’ll tell you about it real quick while I wait for the show to start.
They moved my dad to this nursing home/pulmonary rehab place yesterday. It was supposed to be decent and the only pulmonary rehab in the area. It was not nice there at all but we didn’t have other options for the pulmonary stuff. Then we found out that they weren’t actually doing any of that stuff yesterday like they were supposed to. Now we have to find a new place for him.
Last night we had a small birthday party there for my daughter Mikie who turned 8 today just so Dad could see her open her presents from him and Mom. Then we had to speed home because guess what? My husband was born 10 minutes from Wrigley Field. He’s been a Cubs superfan his whole life so the world series was a HUGE deal. You all probably know what happened there and of course we were up until 2:30 am. Today my kids had dentist appointments at 8:00 am and that ended up taking ALL MORNING.
We had another get together for Mikie for my husband’s side of the family tonight and I’m finally sitting down to watch the show. I feel so out of loop- I missed all the good stuff that happened in the past couple days. 😦 But the show is on and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
