Thank you so much. He’s not all the way back because he’s still very weak but he’s doing his physical therapy and really trying to get better. In many ways, he’s more like his old self than he’s been in years. Yesterday, he played his guitars and sang me all the songs that were my lullabies when I was little – Where Do the Children Play by Cat Stevens, Sandman by America, and Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers. That’s what passed for bedtime songs when your dad was in a band in the 1970s. lol And Dad told me a bunch of fairly dirty jokes so I think that mentally he’s himself again.
In other good news, my new screen arrived yesterday and Michael fixed my computer! YAY. I can make gifs and captions again. I feel like I missed a lot of the good stuff from the last con and I just didn’t see that many gifs from it. So if anyone has any moments they’d liked to see giffed from SFCon, please send me an ask or message me. I’m going to be with Dad all day again but now I can use my computer while he does other stuff so that makes me very happy. ❤
