Did you ever think that the ‘Let it go,brother ‘scene from s8 finale is more of Jensen telling Jared than Dean to Sam? . Since we now know that Jared took ‘Sacrifice’ pretty hard. The tears in Jensen’s eyes can’t all be acting can it?

After hearing repeatedly just how difficult that scene was for Jared and how hard it was for Jensen to see him like that, I’m going to have to say that Jensen probably used his own emotions to make Dean’s more real. I know at a previous con when they discussed Sacrifice, Jared said that Jensen told him that he doesn’t need to bring that pain home with him because he was really concerned about Jared. And at this con, Jared mentioned it again:

And you can see Jensen nodding in agreement. Actors usually call on real life experiences to help with emotional scenes, so I think we can safely say that their real life connection and concern for one another helped bring out what we saw on screen. 

Hey there, gorgeous! Would you elaborate on what ‘post con sadness’ is and how it manifests? I’ve heard mention of it before, but trust you to explain it best. It’s making me hesitant to attend a con b/c I have clinical depress that gets really bad at times, and GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) that can be hard to control. Many thanks!

Oh wow. Okay, so you go to a con and there’s all this adrenaline rushing through you all the time. You see these people you love on stage and hear them talking and singing and having fun and every second of it is wonderful. If you have photo ops or autos, you actually get to meet them and talk to them and that’s pretty damn amazing. On top of that, there’s a decent chance that you could accidentally run into Jared and/or Jensen or any of the actors while you’re just walking around the city where the con is being held. So there’s this buzz of energy and excitement going on all the time. Then it’s over and you have to go back to real life and responsibilities and it’s just sad. Like, I was super happy to get back to my family but still. On top of that, leaving this particular con was especially hard because so many of my friends were there. I have no idea when we’ll be all together like that again. I would definitely encourage you to go to a con but maybe just really mentally prepare yourself for when it’s all over. I hope this helps in some way. ❤

Idea 4 ur hilarious captions: In 902 when Dean puts his hand in front of his crotch. :) Wealth of possibilities here, especially if Sam wants little Dean out and Dean doesn’t want to get little Dean out and Sam promises to defend little Dean’s health until his dying breath. Or sth. LOL I LOVE ur captions. xoxo

I feel like I’ve done just about every good moment in canon. I still have a couple of ideas I’m working on but I want to make them funny and I don’t want to repeat myself. I’ll do more after MinnCon, I PROMISE. Honestly, I can’t wait for the new season to start so I have fresh caption material! 

Do you know of any fic where Sam is hurt or dies and Dean is a wreck about it? Or J2. Sorry feeling anguishy rn

I feel you. I read a lot so I go through fics pretty fast. I have read some good ones lately, most of them from the SPN Meant to Be challenge. That’s been a godsend. 

Begin to Begin Again  by dugindeep(hotsauce). Future!fic, J2 non-AU. Jensen is very sad after the show ends but eventually he figures out what he needs. 

Heartstrings by madebyme_x. J2 AU where Jared is a hard-living rock star who’s in a bus crash and Jensen is a nurse. This is shorter (~8K) but very good. 

The Lost by Phoenix1966. J2 AU about movie star!Jensen and a case of mistaken identity. This is a WIP but it was just updated and it’s really good. 

The Roommate by ashtraythief. J2 AU that’s very cute and funny and pretty sexy too. 

Jensen’s Choice by Zara_Zee. OH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS VERSE. I would read 100 stories about this version of the guys. Jensen is a rich kid with a dark past who stole money from a motorcycle club and ran. Jared is the VP of that club. Jensen’s past is about to catch up with him in a big way.  Read the warnings but if nothing there bothers you, READ IT. You won’t be sorry. 

And one older fic that’s relevant now because Pokemon: 

Arm in Arm, We’ll Fight to Win by cherie_morte. Pretty much exactly what you think it is. J2 AU that contains the best line ever: “You have a Pokemon dick!” I want that on a t-shirt. 

And one awesome Wincest fic from Linds:

The King and the Lionheart by waywardelle. Wincest curtain fic that picks up after the end of season 10. Sam and Dean settle down in a small town and pretend to be married. Really beautifully done and exactly the kind of story that I adore.
