I was going to ignore you but this isn’t the first ask like this I’ve received so I’ll answer.
I tag my captions with wincest, captions for the wincest impaired, the episode title, and if it’s a new one I tag spoilers. I don’t do that because I want it in the main tags to inflate my notes or whatever. I do it so that people who follow me don’t see spoilers if they have them blacklisted. If you don’t like it, I suggest you get xkit or tumblr savior and block or blacklist.
my fave is people complaining that dean being willing to die with sammy is ooc or a new development or whatever. that was literally the same thing as what happened in croatoan in season TWO. watch the damn show lol
*snort* Yeah, that’s so OOC. Let’s see. Dean decided he’d rather die with Sam than live without him in Croatoan. He sold his soul to bring Sam back in All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2. He went to the battle between Michael and Lucifer in Swan Song because he wasn’t going to let Sam die alone. He had a sketchy doctor kill in in Appointment in Samarrah to get Sam’s soul back. He left the doors of hell open in Sacrifice because he couldn’t live without Sam. He killed Death to save Sam in Brother’s Keeper. And this season, he killed himself to bargain with a reaper for Sam in Red Meat and tried to die alongside him in Don’t Call Me Shurley.
Clearly sacrificing himself to save Sam is actually a key component of Dean. Sounds to me like certain people don’t like that particular characteristic of Dean’s so they want to pretend it’s out of character for reasons.
I want to watch some extra Wincesty episodes, can you recommend me some?

Okay, I guess you want specifics.
You could start with season 1 and the pilot. Nothing like introducing the characters by having them roll around on each other in the dark, right? You should also watch Wendigo because
Jesus. Control yourselves.
Also Bugs for the first time they get mistaken for a gay couple, Salvation for their extremely close talking after Sam slams Dean into a wall, and so many more.
Season 2 is another veritable feast of Wincest. I gotta mention Playthings
and Hunted
and Croatoan, Born Under a Bad Sign, All Hell Breaks Loose part 2.
In season 3, I like the Magnificent Seven for Sam just walking right into the room where he knew Dean was having sex and for this look
Also Mystery Spot for Sam’s desperation to save Dean and No Rest for the Wicked which contains Dean’s speech about them being each other’s weak spot.
(This is getting long. I’ll just list some without gifs.)
Season 4: Lazarus Rising, Sex and Violence (because Dean’s siren is literally Sam), and It’s a Terrible Life (where they have their memories wiped but still end up finding each other and deciding to run off after only a couple weeks).
Season 5: I love Changing Channels and it has the scene where Dean is inside Sam (okay, yeah- Sam’s a car at the time but still), Dark Side of the Moon (canon soulmates), and Swan Song of course.
Season 6: Clap Your Hands if You Believe (Dean seems more jealous than pissed about Soulless Sam and the hippie chick), Appointment in Samarrah (AKA the fist time Dean had someone kill him so he could bargain for Sam), …And Then There Were None which I particularly like because of the way Sam and Dean freak when a door shuts between them.
Season 7: I liked Shut Up, Doctor Phil because Dean is couple counseling the witches but every word he says could be applied to him and Sam and The Mentalists (the scene about the Campbells being not really brothers and Sam and Dean coming back together after their fight).
Season 8: Torn and Frayed (they’re both so frickin’ jealous, Sam of Benny and Dean of Amelia) and Sacrifice for the Wincest wedding.
Season 9: Ugh. I hate season 9. I guess maybe I Think I’m Gonna Like it Here because Dean is trying anything to save Sam and Bad Boys which shows how Dean gave up a chance for normal to stay with Sam.
Season 10: EVERYTHING DEMON DEAN SAID TO SAM WAS FRAUGHT WITH SEXUAL INNUENDO. I’d recommend Soul Survivor because
About a Boy was pretty awesome too. And of course, Dean kills Death to save Sam in Brother’s Keeper.
Season 11; You gotta watch Red Meat and Safe House and Baby and Don’t Call Me Shurley. It’s been another A+ season for us wincest-lovers.

when chuck says « thanks for springing him » about Lucifer does he mean freeing Lucifer from the cage or bringing the conversation subject on Lucifer? (English is not my first language sorry >_< ) because he can’t possibly be blaming Sam for freeing Lucifer by breaking the last seal right? Since both angels (that Chuck created) and demons (that Lucifer, who was also created by Chuck, created) wanted the apocalypse to happen and manipulated sam and dean (who are humans) 1/2
to break the first and last seals and the reason why angels lost their shit in the first place was because he, god, disappeared to write books sooo that would be very very hypocritical and douchey for someone as wise as god to say something like that right? I must be misunderstanding… thanks!2/2

You know what? I thought he meant “thanks for springing him this time” which wasn’t really Sam or Dean’s fault but since you asked that I started thinking that maybe he meant “thanks for springing him the first time around”. That makes slightly more sense but not really because like you said, there’s plenty of blame to go around for that one. Either way, it was pretty hypocritical.
Let’s not forget that Jensen and Jared can’t just “start their own thing”. Creation and the several other companies that organize con’s in other countries to exactly that – they have the connections with hotels, they are the ones who have the means to hold such a big event. J2 would literally have to start a convention company from the ground up, make connections at hotels etc. and I’d just like to point out that Star Trek cons were even more expensive at one point.
Anon 2: They can’t switch companies. They have a contract and frankly, there aren’t any other companies out there that could organize a huge con as thoroughly and with as much experience. They also can’t start their own thing or they never get out of the US otherwise. I know the prices are high but that is simply supply and demand. They’ve been doing the Con circle for years and more and more people come to these cons.

So in spirit of all the con stuff coming out and knowing you’ve attended some cons, do you have any idea why J2 charge so much? I mean they advertise about how much this is a family and they’re all about the fans who have gotten them where they are but it’s sort of ridiculous. And if it’s simply the convention why don’t they take a bigger beef with it and switch companies or start their own thing? I know you don’t have answers but your thoughts on this?
Jensen and Jared aren’t setting the prices. Creation is. It’s a matter of supply and demand, really. More and more people want to go to the cons and they’re willing to pay a lot of money for it. Of course Creation is going to charge whatever they can get away with- they’re in it to make money. As for Jensen and Jared switching companies or starting their own thing, they have a contract with Creation. I guess the bottom line is that the prices are definitely outrageous and that’s too bad but since the cons keep getting bigger, I can’t see them changing anything now. I wish I had better answers but I don’t. Sorry.

Yep, it’s when they go into that store. The owner assumes they’re together which I completely understand:
SHOPKEEPER: Help you, boys?
DEAN: Hope so. Uh, we were playing Jenga over at the Walshes’ the other night, and, uh… well, he hasn’t shut up since about this Christmas wreath, and (to SAM) I don’t know, you tell him.
SAM: (Giving DEAN a look) Sure. (turns back to the shopkeeper) It was yummy.
SHOPKEEPER: I sell a lot of wreaths, guys.
SAM: Right, right, but – but you see, this one would have been really special. It had, uh, it had, uh, green leaves, um, white buds on it. It might have been made of, uh… meadowsweet?
SHOPKEEPER: Well, aren’t you a fussy one?
SAM looks taken aback, embarrassed.
DEAN: (Smiles fondly) He is… (He laughs and SAM looks at him)

Exactly. It seems like every time I see one of these surveys it’s targeted to one very specific part of the fandom. It would be nice if more people would fill it out and we could get a more balanced view.
