The person on twitter who said she saw Jared picking cherry blossoms out of Jensen’s hair also said she saw a hug between Dean and Cas. Keep in mind that she does ship D/C so there could be some exaggeration going on but I’m assuming she must have seen something like that. 

Um. I have certain theories here that make me not very upset about this but I don’t really want to talk about them publicly because I could be totally wrong. Let me just say that I don’t think you need to worry yourself too much about it. Even if I am wrong, I don’t think it’s a big deal. Sam and Dean have both hugged Cas a couple times before. 

The person who posted it said they didn’t know if it was Sam and Dean or Jared and Jensen and as great as that would be if J2 hug each other randomly a lot on set, having a Sam and Dean hug in the finale (especially after finding out that Dean and Cas will hug) would make me so happy.

That’s why I also put the top picture on there. That one is clearly Jensen and Jared, just hanging out on set. The second picture doesn’t look like Jensen’s face when he hugs Jared. It looks like Dean’s face when he hugs Sam. Much more serious and world-weary.

Although yeah, if J2 are randomly hugging on the set, I need to know about it for scientific research purposes.

He’s fine. I’m trying to potty train him and it’s been really hard. He’s stubborn. The other night, I was changing his pants and I said to my husband, “Damn- he has a little piece of poop stuck to him and I can’t get it off.” My husband goes, “Haha. Poop nuts.” Jensen thought that was hilarious so now he keeps telling everyone that his name is Jensen Poop Nuts. He runs around the house saying it CONSTANTLY. So that’s fun. 

Joan says that’s another story that’s funnier if you imagine Jensen Ackles in place of my Jensen. 

Thanks for asking btw- that’s really sweet. 

No m/m ship with the main characters will be canon, not because of the fans, but because of the networks. they did not put that sort of money into the show to make it “specialized”. Not to mention Jensen has been changng scripts to mke them less gay even in subtext, and getting angry about it too. There will be gay marriage in all states before there is a canon ship like that on SPN. Oh, wait.

LOL! Exactly. The major networks are getting a little better about exploring LGBT+ issues but tptb at the CW certainly aren’t going to take a proven genre series like SPN and suddenly switch it to a show about a guy who’s almost 40 exploring his sexuality. 

wtf?? there has NEVER been a “very large chance” that d*stiel could be made canon. Never.

No, there hasn’t. Supernatural has about 1.7 million viewers each week (on average). Out of that number, only a very tiny percentage are shippers. I was talking to one of my friends the other day who loves both Supernatural and The Walking Dead. She’s been to TWD cons and now she’s going to a SPN con. I said something about destiel the other day and she said “What does that mean?” So I had a very uncomfortable discussion with her because she was honestly totally bewildered and surprised by the whole thing. I asked her what she thought they were talking about when they mentioned the ships in the episode Fan Fiction and she said that part must have gone right over her head. She has never seen anything romantic between Cas and Dean (or Sam and Dean for that matter) at all and she just didn’t get it. Those are the people that make up the silent majority of the SPN fandom. They aren’t on Tumblr, they aren’t obsessed with a ship, they don’t see the supposed subtext. They just watch the show because they like it and they like the guys. If they suddenly made that ship canon after 11 seasons, most of that group would be so confused. Think about it- there’s never been any mention of Dean being anything but straight in canon. He’s never expressed romantic feelings for Cas at all in canon and has in fact called him family and said he was like a brother to him. If you view it through the eyes of the general non-shipping audience, making the ship canon would be from so far out in left field that it could quite possibly make them stop watching. TPTB know all this. It’s not news to them. So they’ll just keep trying to make everyone happy and none of the major ships will be made canon.  That’s my thoughts on it anyway. 

(not hate) i understand the aspect of wincest in the show. but there’s also a very large chance that destiel can be made canon, but wincest can’t

I guess I will post this one since it’s the least offensive of the 5 hate anons that came into my ask box last night and this morning. And yes, it is hate. Putting “not hate” at the beginning of an ask like this doesn’t change your clear intention. You are coming onto the blog of a wincest shipper to attempt to start wank. 

Yes, after two episodes (Safe House and Red Meat) of nothing but Sam and Dean and their devotion to each other, the destiel shippers got an episode that had some good moments of Dean caring what happens to Cas. In canon, that’s just Dean refusing to ever give up on one of his closest friends and allies. That shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone- Dean would never give up on someone he considers family. But apparently getting a few good moments really brings out the worst in some people in the destiel fandom and I got 5 asks from destiel shippers (not all of whom remembered to stay on anon) saying that their ship was going to be canon or that is already is canon.

Now let me just say, I usually delete and block people who pull this stuff but that’s a high volume of nonsense being directed at me and so I’m forced to say something. 

My blog is a safe place for people who enjoy wincest and want a laugh. I don’t post hate or wank about any ship on here. Many of my friends ship destiel and I did a captions edit involving unrequited destiel awhile ago for my close friend’s birthday because that’s what she likes. The fact that you all chose to target me anyway speaks volumes about a certain branch of the destiel fandom who want to attack and provoke anyone who doesn’t ship what they do. I don’t get that.

None of the major ships on Supernatural will ever be made canon. I promise you that. The people who run the show go back and forth giving little moments that will please this group of fans or that group of fans while still making sure to keep the majority of people watching- the casual, non-shipping viewers- happy. They’ve been doing this for years now and it’s not going to change. Also, shipping isn’t really supposed to be about forcing something into canon, especially if it flat-out doesn’t fit there. It’s supposed to be about enjoying the little moments between your otp. If you’re shipping something simply because you feel like you can somehow will it to become canon, you’re doing it wrong and you’re always going to end up sad and disappointed. 

So that’s it- everyone else who sent me asks like this one (all the others were much worse- I chose this one since I thought it would be the least upsetting to followers who hate wankage) is getting blocked right now. I will not post any more asks regarding this topic either so if anyone else wants to try to pick a fight with me, you’re wasting your time. 

Now back to our regularly scheduled program of wincest captions and J2 con gifs and things that make me laugh. (Yes- I am doing captions for this episode, probably two sets of them. For anyone who was wondering.<3)

sorry i’m not that good in english and I really don’t get the “manspreading” the “mayonnaise” jokes made by Jared and Jensen. Any help? :(

Manspreading is when a guy sits way back and sprawls his legs out. Jared does it all the time because oh my god his legs are so long…mmm. Sorry. Where was I? Oh yeah! That’s what it actually is but it sounds sort of dirty so it was already hilarious. Mayonnaise is also known as sandwich spread but once again, mayo can be part of dirty jokes because of how it looks. So there you go- hope that helps. 

Hi! I’m Seacon panel Anon. Thank you for your answer. I’m glad you think it’s Sam. May I ask you one more question？ In the last scene of Safe House, why did Sam say that Dean seeing dead Sam is kind of comforting? At first I thought he felt relieved because Dean saw Sam, not Amara. But Japanese subtitles is like “our lives are messed up, so we are able to stay calm to vision of dead-me”. I’m so confused. What did you think when you watched ep-16? And I promise I won’t bother you anymore.

Oh wow. That’s a very different take on what I assumed they meant when Sam said it was comforting. I’m pretty sure something is getting lost in translation there. I’m almost positive they meant he was relieved Dean didn’t see Amara, especially after Dean did see her in that episode Love Hurts.
