as your local wincest trash it is my duty to talk in depth about the brother hug and basically that whole scene. so let’S FUCKING TALK ABOUT IT
- first of all the fact that dean leaves his most prized possession with sam once again is a reminder that sam is his absolute number one (but honestly who ever doubted that)
- “no chick flick moments” okay this just destroys me. comparing it to the first time that dean said this in the pilot, when it was just said so casually as a manly joke thing, to now when they’re saying goodbye to each other and they’re trying so hard to keep it together so they just have to laugh it off to stay strong fuck me up
- also, they both have tears in their eyes and they can barely bring themselves to look at each other because they fucking know it will hurt too much to see each other like that
- ^^ seriously i mean if they let themselves look at each other properly they will just break down and back out of the whole thing and they’re trying so hard to be strong because they know how important it is
- the way dean says “come here” i juST
- and sam just puts his face in dean’s neck/shoulder which i think is so more intimate and makes him so small honestly i’m wrecked
- aND a small observation of my own which is probably just me over analysing everything about them but i’m like 80% sure that sam said something into dean’s shoulder?? i didn’t hear anything on the audio but looking at gifs now i can see his mouth moving and just idk but i’m headcanoning that he told him he loved him
- then they’ve jusT GOTTA PLAY IT COOL WHEN THEY ARE SO NOT COOL
