Yes. Sam looked so detached and empty inside before Dean figured out what was wrong with him and he just cleaned up after his little brother instead of comforting Sam about being a murderous psychopath.
Personally I love that Dean asked Sam how to erase the hard drive and was so frantic about it that when Sam (who had seemingly snapped) didn’t answer Dean just smashed the hell out of the piece of equipment like ‘this stupid hunk of metal isn’t going to take my brother away from me.’
Desperate, I love him so much I can’t lose him Dean protecting crazed off the rails killer Sam is one of my favorite things, people.
