This one time I saw an amazing gif on tumblr and I reblogged it and in the tags I was like THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER and the artist saw it and messaged me and wouldn’t you know it? Turns out she’s the other half of my soul. It took like 3 messages (on fan mail- remember that?) for us to mind meld and become best friends. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t seen her gif or if she hadn’t sent me a message and I just can’t even imagine it. My life would be so much less without her. I can never thank her enough for all the support and love and encouragement and laughter but guess what? Today is her birthday and I’m gonna try. September 19 is officially Joan Day on this blog. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOAN. You’re the Clyde to my Bonnie and I love you. @deansbeerbottle

Later someone put the N in Dean back up but the A in Sam fell down.

This one is for Joan, of course. I love you and the sign was brilliant.

and i know the one gif looks different but i needed the whole thing so you could see Jensen’s little passing Jared something to hold move so Monica’s watermark is on that one. just fyi

Before this episode started, Joan and I practiced some phrases that come in handy for bucklemming episodes including:

  • Man, that SUCKED.
  • What. The. Actual. Fuck.
  • You call this dialogue that actual humans speak??!!?
  • Man, THAT sucked.
  • Eugenie and Brad wouldn’t know pacing if it literally ran them over and left them for dead.
  • This is some bullshit.
  • MAN, that sucked.
  • Have the duo ever actually watched an episode of this show?
  • WHy is everyone SOOOOO OOC??
  • MAN, THAT SUCKED.

As you can see, this helpful guide worked like a charm. All we had to do was cut and paste the appropriate phrase at the perfect time and it took care of our entire text conversation. Feel free to use them.

‘Supernatural’ at 200: The Road So Far, An Oral History (Variety, 2014)

Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester): They bring us in to the WB lot, and I’m sitting there, and in walks this really pretty dude who I had never seen before. We met and we’re waiting around, and usually in a test situation there are three or four people at least for each character and they’ll do a chemistry read.

Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester): It was just immediate chemistry. There was an ease to it. There was a familiarity to it. Once we got into it with each other, it just fell in place and it came… not easy, but definitely a little easier than my experiences in the past. I think the importance of that bond and that relationship was verbalized by Kripke when he sat us down and said, “this begins and ends with you,” and not only how we relate to each other on screen, but also off screen. There was an importance stamped into [that bond] very early on. (X)

Here’s something funny I noticed at MinnCon.

This is how far apart their chairs are at the beginning of the panel:

Aww. They look so lonely. But don’t worry. Jared immediately starts moving his:

That’s a little better. But when they go to sit down, they both just automatically move closer:

Whew. Okay. That’s probably close enough, right?:

WRONG. Because if they aren’t sitting close enough to get their knees all tangled, what is even the point?
