Can we talk about Sam’s facial expression after he says ‘promise.’? His uncertainty. It’s freaking killing me. You can see the wheels in his head turning, the pure knowledge of that promise might be getting broken. That the possibility of him returning is actually pretty slim. But even if he isn’t coming back, he is scared of what lengths his big brother might go through to bring him back. If he wins this fight, he will be reunited with his brother. If he loses the fight, and is brought back, he might never see his brother again.
I’m going to punch myself now.
Maybe we are each other’s Achilles heel. Maybe they’ll find a way to use us against each other, I don’t know. I just know we’re all we’ve got. More than that. We keep each other human.
