This one time I saw an amazing gif on tumblr and I reblogged it and in the tags I was like THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER and the artist saw it and messaged me and wouldn’t you know it? Turns out she’s the other half of my soul. It took like 3 messages (on fan mail- remember that?) for us to mind meld and become best friends. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t seen her gif or if she hadn’t sent me a message and I just can’t even imagine it. My life would be so much less without her. I can never thank her enough for all the support and love and encouragement and laughter but guess what? Today is her birthday and I’m gonna try. September 19 is officially Joan Day on this blog.
